Picasa can be used incredibly quickly to edit image captions, while full instructions are displayed in the toolbar on the left side of the screen for more sophisticated tools such as red-eye removal and retouching. There are some fun filters, all completely customizable and our images are really great. You can also use nice and useful image editing options to apply filters. Improvements include cropping, straightening, automatic light adjustment, hue and contrast, improved sharpness and red-eye correction. Picasa isn’t an app editing expert, but it does offer an interesting range of features that you can use to make basic edits, either image by image, side by side, or batch. The gui cards distinguish between different library and import projects. You can quickly switch between viewing the library and viewing edits as images are viewed (located in the View menu). The GUI for Picasa is very simple and now looks pretty square. People in the pictures can even be tagged to make them easier to identify. Picasa also lets you apply tags to your images so you can quickly filter them, such as where the photos were taken (although you need to enter them manually today). You can easily drag and drop images and reorganize them from one place to another. If you’ve added your pictures to Picasa, they’re sorted into collections that are stored in folders with the same names. You do not have to upload new images manually. Picasa also lets you select your drive and the files you want to scan, and lets you sync whenever you automatically open the app.
